A mid 20th century liquor bottle, likely but not definitely whiskey. Possibly 1954.
The D-247 marking is the Distiller # which I believe was used by the Standard Brands company. This # has been correlated to Fleishmann's Whiskey. See https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1313&_nkw=fleischmann+whiskey&_sacat=0 for examples of advertising.
