Paul Jones Whiskey Bottle

Hello,

today while scuba diving off Point Loma, CA, I found this bottle. I have done some research and found similar bottles but they all say pat pending and federal law prohibits…. This bottle does not have any of those markings, anyone have any guesses to an age of this bottle?

    Thanks for posting and excellent observation about your example.

    The design for this bottle was patented in 1927. Design Patent # 73096. The law requiring the "FEDERAL LAW FORBIDS..." embossing went into effect in 1935 so it would seem your bottle falls in this time bracket.

    Rare is the case when one can pinpoint the age of a bottle so closely...
