Found: green and blue bottles need help identifying!
Found these two bottles amongst many others around an old home site. Most bottles seem to have been from the 1930-1950 but curious if anyone has more details on specific ones. Two in particular are:
A green bottle with seam running to the lip. 4/5 quart. Duraglas name on bottom with Saturn esque symbol next to it with a “2” on the left side of the Saturn, “43” on the right, and “5” underneath
Also have a blue bottle with seam running all the way to the lip, “Made in U. S. A.” On bottom with a sideways “M” on the side
Any idea as to their use, brand, date?
Thanks in advance!

The green bottle is a liquor bottle. Duraglas by Owens Illinois tells you the manufacturer of the bottle...the brand is lost to history with no label... Age 1940s or 50s Interesting that you say "Saturn" since it is blurry it does rather look planet-like but this symbol is a logo of a diamond shape, an "O" (for Owens) and a letter I in the center. There is a clearer picture of this manufacture mark in this post: https://forum.antiquebottles-glass.com/discussion/3992/i-found-this-bottle-under-a-tree-at-prospect-park-brooklyn
The cobalt blue bottle, both color and form was used by milk of magnesia products. Same mid 20th century age.
Awesome thanks Chris!!
