Very unusual color and shape with unusual seam?
This bottle was found in a river in our yard. (Massachusetts) It has a really unusual shape and color. The bottle measures 2.5” tall and about 1.25” at the base. The seam is diagonal across the base and appears to be obscured by the shape of the bottle. The mouth is made for a screw cap but it is sharp inside like it was cut (see photo) Any input would be much appreciated! Also we have found beer bottles from the late 1800s in the same location.

Thanks for posting. Great color for certain and not one frequently seen.
Yours is a smelling salts bottle, probably Boston and Sandwich Glass Works, Sandwich, Massachusetts, third quarter 19th century.
