Antique glass: Any significant value in a pair vs single glass
Hi,
new to the forum so hope I follow the etiquette correctly.
I was given a Georgian double air twist sherry glass as a christening present nearly 40 years ago. I’ve randomly stumbled across what appears as an identical glass been sold online (£225 ish). Whilst I wouldn’t intend to sell my glass I’m wondering if there is any value in making it a pair. I have two daughters which would make inheritance easier (hopefully way down the line) and if they are ever stuck they could sell together should it ever be needed.
So my question is, is it worth creating a pair and if so is there a general rule of thumb on how much greater a pair is worth Vs singles.
