This shape of bottle with its flat bands along each edge is called a "strap-sided" flask. Yours has a tooled top and was made just prior to the era of machine-made bottles. I would date it to the first decade of the 20th century, possibly even a bit earlier.
Note the purple-ish tint which comes from manganese in the glass.
