Brown Ball glass bottle bottom help?
I am in Columbus, GA and frequently find OLD glass pieces in the famous Chattahoochee River! I have come across a brown bottle bottom with the famous "Ball" signature, along with the embossed "D126". Above this are the numbers "76" on top and "57" below. Below that, it reads "660-25" and below that is a maker's mark I have had no luck identifying it online: it is a square with a cross in the middle, but the cross is uneven so the squares made by it are different sizes. I have attached a before and after pic because it was almost easier to read when it was dirty! I would love to know anything about it, thanks so much in advance!

Ball is the bottle manufacturer (think Ball canning jars)
D-126 is the distiller number of the company that would be using the bottle...I have traced this number to several liquor brands including Seagrams and Calvert whiskey. It would date to the mid 20th century.
