Bottles found under floor in home.

edited February 2012 in Question and Answer
We found several of these bottles, some with corks and various sizes under a section of our home that was a pantry when it was built. Our home is approximately 125 years old. My assumption is that they were thrown there when the house was built as it was the original floor we cut through and no additions have been made to that part of the home since we have lived there aprox the past 30 years... nor had the other occupant which was the orginial family that constructed and owned the home before us. my question is as I can find no information on F &F Co. stamped on the bottom and would like to know more about these. Thank you in advance for any information you can provide.

  • It is a turn of the 20th century generic pharmacy bottle. I do not find the company mark in either Toulouse's Bottle Makers and Their Marks or Peterson's 400 Trademarks on Glass
