Mysterious tea kettle ink bottle

Was told that I would never find any info anywhere on this ink bottle. After 10 years of trying I believe it. Several people want to purchase it but don't know what its worth. Do you know anything about it?

    Allow me to reset your thinking on this object - it is not an inkwell at all. It is a water feeder for a bird cage. This is most unusual in that it is amber in color - I have only seen clear ones.
