Need some info in this please.
I found this bottle in a creek last year and it has no markings at all other than a seam. I would any information I can get. How old, what it was used for, and value.
thanks.

this is a late 19th century generic bottle used for medicine. A bottle manufacturing company would sell these in bulk to a pharmacist or medicinal company.
Bottle collectors call this shape a "paneled medicine" owing to its common use of recessed panels. Of course such bottles almost always were labeled.
Unfortunately, without label or embossing, it is not worth much....perhaps a few dollars.
Thanks so much for the info. It'll be a conversation piece to a fun fishing trip. It has definitely peeked my interest in antique bottles.
