Dress Mannequin Shaped Bottle

This bottle is 13.5 inches tall with a flat front and back. Anyone have an idea of what it would have contained?

Any advice on where to look would be greatly appreciated. I've wasted hours looking for this bottle type!

My first reaction was Joy dish washing detergent but I went back to old advertisements and found no bottle like yours.

I am fairly sure this is a household product bottle - cleaning, soap, possibly a food product but cannot say for sure since I have never seen one like it.

My approach to 20th century bottles is to browse the internet and esp. eBay for advertisements but usually I have some clue to go by...here we do not.

Another approach is to review vintage glass bottle catalogs for clues.
