"glim" glass bottle
just wondering if you can tell me anything about this bottle i found on my property. is it worth anything? how old is it? what was it used for?

We know from the markings on the base that this bottle was made by the Owens Illinois Glass Co. during the period from 1929 to 1954 (thanks to info in the book, Bottle Makers and Their Marks by Toulouse)
The logo, an "I" in a circle and diamond, has 3 numbers around it. The date is to the right.
As to the use of the bottle, I found a newspaper clipping from 1954 showing the product - it was a dishwashing liquid.
