Wow, I am entirely stumped. My hunch is that they have some age, perhaps as much as 75-100 years old.
It would be helpful if you could provide a length.

I shared this with a friend who is quite knowledgeable. He suggested they could be pestles, as in mortar and pestle.
Seems plausible to me.
