If, and How To Empty Collectible Decanter ?
I have a collectible ceramic Ezra Brooks Train decanter that was inherited. It is full and still sealed with the original seal. I would prefer to sell (give?) it to someone who would collect or value these kinds of collectibles. I can't sell it if it still contains the alcohol, or can I ?
I figured having the unbroken original seal potentially adds value to the decanter, so I don't want to tear it to empty the decanter. So how would I go about emptying the decanter without reducing its value ? Drill through the bottom carefully and drain it ? Or just tear the seal as it doesn't matter for the value and pour the contents out ?
Any suggestions welcome.

There is not much interest in these Ezra Brooks decanters, perhaps the only value is in the contents but one cannot ship bottles containing alcohol. So you are limited to a local sale.
