Need Help Identifying tall clear bottle - whiskey?

This was found in Williamsport, TN, in a pile of rubbish from an old home (1836) being remodeled. Seam on sides goes up to lip. No markings other than the circle on the front. Perhaps old rum or whiskey bottle? 1880s?
