Nicely embossed 4 1/4" Liquor (?) bottle ID help
I've recently started unpacking boxes of items I've collected
over the years and came across this interesting one. The label is long gone but there's no embossing that warns about resale so I'm assuming it's fairly old. It's 4 1/2" tall with a base of about 1 13/16". It did have a screw off lid but that's long gone. The bottom appears to say "American ___ Distillery ________ (there are missing words or letters missing where the ___ is) and Made in USA on the front. Any help would be appreciated.

I found only one reference to American Distillery Co. - in this ebay auction
https://www.ebay.com/263373738685
The bottle pictured in this auction, however, is much later. ...as in 1970s or newer. It lists the company as located in San Francisco
This google search yielded a few references to the company in the early 1900s
