Old bottle found in the woods

Please help Identify the age and maker of this bottle. On the bottom is AT 79 9- and an O with an l in the middle.

The I within the letter O would be the mark of Owens-Illinois which is a large manufacturer of glass and bottles...I assume today they are a multi-national corporation. Your soda bottle is not more than a few decades old.
