Information about antique ruby decanter no markings

Hi- My grandmother gave this to me in 1975, and it was given to her by her mother. No markings - any information on age is appreciated! Her family came over from England in the 1500s.

  • Let the experts correct me. But instincts tell me chekoslovokian (butchered spelling) bohemian cut glass. Again I am probably wrong. But beautiful decanter none the less

  • I would agree with Jake - Bohemian (Eastern Europe) origins - late 19th century.

One would say ruby flashed and the decoration is cut to clear...
