"Federal law...reuse of this bottle" - full of teeth, from Jaskson Sanatorium?

I visited the Jackson Sanatorium a while ago and came across a half pint clear glass bottle. The bottom says R344 56-44. the bottle its self is about 5 inches. The top is a screw top. When I found the bottle it contained teeth. Many of them where molars. Can anybody help with the era and worth?

    OMG, this is bizarre. You have to come through with a picture! And do tell where the Jackson Sanatorium is located.

    The Jackson Sanatorium is in Dansville New York and as for the pictures I am not sure how to do that I am using a desktop computer.
