Early 1800's flask?

Found this at a thrift store. From what I understand this might be a hand blown pocket flask from the early 1800's but I am really unsure. It has an open pontil scar on the bottom and no other markings. Any ideas on age or value? Thanks!!imageimageimageimage

  • Hi, thanks for posting this!

Your flask is a Clevenger Brothers or other south New Jersey bottle blown in the latter 20th century.

Tom Haunton's book on the Clevengers shows an example and says these were made from the 1960s through 90s.

It may be a bit earlier than that....
