Need information - M.CARR J. BEAM Philadelphia bottle
I am looking for any information on an old bottle found under a home (former restaurant) from mid to late 1800"s. It is aqua and 7 inches tall and side seam goes up to the shoulder. It has an applied lip. There is embossing on both sides of the bottle. One side has M.CARR and the other side says J. BEAM. There is also very faint embossing that looks like PHIL AD with a small A with a line under it. Any ideas how old this is and if it could possibly a very early Jim Beam bottle. Thanks, Barb Parkinson

Your soda bottle dates to the 1870s and is a Philadelphia company.
I doubt this has any relation to the Jim Beams of Kentucky but I suppose it is possible....
