Unlisted unique 1984 Olympics Ball jars

i have a 1984 round ball jar from the 1984 l.a. Olympics and has Sam the eagle on the bottom carrying the torch. it was not licensed and was made after hours at the el Monte California plant. it was boot legged and is not listed in the red book. can you tell me what it might be worth and would it be good to put it on auction?

Hi Paul, It's really hard to put a value on these. They are not in the antique realm (yet) so you will need to get a lot more specific in your search for expertise. To me, the most likely collector of these would be someone who specializes in Ball products, old and new. I would reach out to people in the fruit jar collector community.
