Can anyone help me determine the age of this bottle? It has a 2 on the bottom, stands about 10 in tall and just under 4 in wide. There is a diagonal seam on bottom of bottle.
This is a generic whiskey or spirits bottle which dates to the very late 19th century or early 20th century. If it has even the slightest purple (amethyst) tint, then it is pre 1916 or so.
