Looking to find some more information on this bottle found in Illinois. Peoria Bottling Co. Trade Mark Registered Coca Cola is all on the front of the bottle. The Coca Cola is in cursive with a fancy outline surrounding it. On the bottom of the bottle is ROOT Looking for possible year and what it may be worth. Thank you

    Hi and welcome

    The ROOT marking indicates Root Glass Co of Terre Haute Ind which was in operation from 1901 to 1932, according to Bottle Makers and Their Marks by Toulouse.

    I am no expert on Coke collectibles but I suspect this one dates to the earlier end of that date range.

    Condition is everything for value - chips and wear are going to hurt the value.

    I did some quick searching around and this seems to be a scarce one.

    Thank you for your feed back. I was unable to come up with a time frame for the bottle. I have another Coke bottle I may post in a few days!
