Old square bottom bottle

I have this old bottle and would like some info on it. The bottom has what appears to be an M in the center and the number 6-k-845

    It certainly looks like a decanter, but is machine made and dates after about 1920 or so

    The letter M (circle around it or other details?) might represent the bottle manufacturer. Sometimes I am able to track these down in the book Bottle Makers and their Marks
