Can anyone tell me anything about this bottle?

There is a seam that runs to the top of the lip which suggests machine made according to what I've read on this forum. But a strange imperfection half way up I find interesting. Any thoughts on the bottle. I found it in about 10 feet of water while snorkeling in Echo Lake in Mount Vernon, Maine.

    Earlier 20th century (likely 2nd quarter) food bottle of some sort. My best guess is it held olives or capers or a sauce.
