Lake Travis, Austin Texas. Anyone tell me what it is. I cant find any information on it besides "It might have held juice or milk" Embossed with KRAFT
NO DEPOSIT

    Undoubtedly a product of Kraft Foods, the 800-lb gorilla of the wonderful world of factory foods. Hmm, that award probably is better bestowed on Monsanto now that I think of it...but I digress.

    This is a juice or liquid container of some kind and could be as recent as the 1980s.

    Legislation from the 1970s brought back the notion of deposits for carbonated beverages, but I am not exactly sure when the widespread re-use of beverage bottles and the deposit systems originally died out. Probably 1950s and 60s as business became less local and more mass-produced by national companies.
