hi, Has anyone ever seen a bottle like this? Found in an old neighborhood in Philadelphia. Do you know what might have been in the bottle?

Mineral water or soda.

It's a long way from its origin in the UK / Ireland

Later 19th century in age.

Thank you, Chris!! I was off base. I thought the writing on the bottle might have been Swedish with the dots over the ö. And then I wondered if it might have been brought to the US or perhaps actually produced here by G. Förste company. Thanks again!

I suppose this could have been UK made for export, but have to admit I am not knowledgeable of European glass commerce at this time...
