found a bottle

edited May 2011 in Question and Answer
I found a bottle that looks pretty old. It has an emblem with a shield and eagle. It says Garretts American Wine in the shield under that it says Reg.u.s.pat.off. under that it says Garrett & Co. INC established 1835 PIONEER AMERICAN WINE GROWERS refilling prohibited NEW YORK. On the bottom of the bottle its stamped with a #3.

I also found another miniture bottle. It has what appears to be a crown on the front and 1/10P.T. at the neck of the bottle. On the back it has a stamp that just says 1818. On the bottom it has 13 then some space and then a diamond then some space and a H.
I have no idea what these bottles are worth or when they date back to. Any information would be great. I know2 nothing about bottles but I come across old ones all the time. Also where would be a good place to sell them? Please email me at sav867@yahoo.com.
Thank you

  • Cork top? Screw top?

The second one sounds fairly modern...first might have some potential.
