Trying to find information on this find. Federal Law forbids the sale or reuse of this bottle just below the neck across the front. bottom has the following markings D-50 55-52
We do know it is a liquor bottle based on the embossing. One can also assume the bottle most likely was produced in the 1950s...likely but not definitely.
The D in "D-50" stands for Distiller. One can eventually trace #50 back to a product manufacturer by tracking down labeled bottles. I keep such a list but unfortunately I have no info on #50 as of yet....
