Whiskey bottle

I found this old whiskey flask style bottle yesterday. I am thinking 1950s. What is odd is it is made by the Ball company.
I did not think they made alcohol bottles.

made sometime between the 40's and late 50's. I think ball even makes some beer cans to this day. almost certainly wine gin or whiskey.
