Handblown Glass Vase

I am trying to find out if this blue handblown glass vase is possibly old or has any value. It has some color on the inside lip and has a metal hanger with it. Thanks for any input! Melanie

Hi Melanie,

It is very attractive and old looking but I do not believe it is an antique.

You could certainly describe the glass as hand blown with applied handles. It also has a pontil mark on the base (part of the hand blowing process)

I would say it has decorative value, but hard for me to say how much.

Thanks for your input. I have just bought it at an estate sale of a man 94 yrs old. He was a pilot and lived many years in the MiddleEast and a good portion of his items he had labeled Cairo, Bangkok, Saudi, Beirut, but nothing on this piece. This will probably be a keeper. Thanks again!
