We found this item in a creek yesterday.
It is an Owen machine manufactured bottle with the O inside the square on the bottom, surrounded by the suction mark placed haphazardly and hanging off the side. The glass appears to have a very slight amber tint, though that may just be aging in creek mud. It is approximately 5.5" tall, 2.25" across at the widest shoulder section, and about 1" from front to back. The flared neck is clearly cork ready and there are bubbles visible inside the glass. The bottle is shaped somewhat like a coffin, but this system will not allow me to post photos.
Does anyone have any ideas what this once held?
