Hi, I’m Ron and I just joined your forum, cheers. I just purchased an E. G. Booz’s bottle at auction in Ontario, Canada. I have been to your forum and read the comments and discussion on these bottles. Naturally I am unsure about what I bought. I think it is a beautiful bottle whether is original or a reproduction. Right now I believe it is a reproduction but would like to know from what period and by what maker. Value would also be helpful please.
The bottle is darker at the bottom near the front where the door and window are located. The rest of the bottle is amber coloured. The top is tapered and applied by hand. The “K” in Whiskey appears to be wider at the top. The ST in street has a smaller thicker “T” with two dots below it. There is a flaw in the roof during moulding but it isn’t a crack. I am sending photos to help with identification.
Cheers,
Ron
