PiperAtTheGates Lake Hiawatha, New Jersey, found in some eroded soil amongst other old bottles. On the front is a ‘P’ in a diamond, on the bottom is ‘THE PFEIFFER CO. ST. LOUIS MO’ and molded glass marks on side of the word ‘THE’ a capital letter H with a small letter an underneath. On the right, a small crescent moon. Could not find this bottle identified anywhere anyone know anything about it? Maybe castor oil but not sure. Wondering what the year of manufacture ! This is a link to a Google Drive where three images of the bottle are. Cannot seem to upload imagery here. Thanks for any help. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1ErY9AfznsZ3WEc4h6zsoWA4NFd_mZtB8
Chris Pfeiffer Company was known for producing a variety of patent medicines including at one time the well known product, Pitcher's Castoria. Your mid 20th century bottle likely contained some sort of medicine.
