bottle found in a old barn, want to know how old it is.

i found it in the wall of an old barn. it has no symbols or markings on it,it looks like its hand blown. i would like to know the date and what it was used for. i can post more pics if needed.

Your 3-piece mold whiskey bottle dates from the early 20th century.

Embossing on it would sure increase the value - these are quite common.

I cannot tell from the photos whether there is an amethyst tint to the glass or not - you will find some discussion of "sun-colored amethyst" here on this forum
