Wonderful label, too bad it is not in better condition. I love the handwriting! The bottle is a generic strap sided flask which could have been made about anywhere here in the US.
I am no expert but prior to Prohibition perhaps there were no laws regulating the production of liquor.... I know things changed once Prohibition was repealed...then the Federal government started requiring registration and permitting of alcohol producers.
