Huge Demijohn (information needed)

So I went to an antique shop and fell in love with this huge Demijohn. the owner said he bought it from someone several years ago. It is very likely it was brought from Spain.

Have you ever seen a Demijohn like this? it's clarity makes me think it could be a reproduction.

the cost is around 400$. Any advice?

Looks like a mid-20th Century bottle. Perhaps a fermenter. Could be from spain or just about anywhere. It's not very collectible, as demijohns go -- certainly not a $400 bottle. Here's a ~50 liter fermenter I brought back from the Costa del Sol.
