9.5 inch Falstaff Lemp St Louis Bottle

We dug this bottle up in our front yard. According to the Lemp Brewery website it is a "Crown top bottles embossed with the Lemp / St. Louis shield specifically for Falstaff Beer; 12" and 9-1/2" tall; circa 1904." 1904 is the year our house was built. This is a 9 1/2" bottle.

Markings on the bottom are a large letter C and the numbers 094. There are two seems on the bottle, one on each side.

Any ideas on how to remove the rest of the dirt residue? We are also trying to figure out if this bottle has any value?

If you are talking about the bits of dirt buried in the rough spots on the bottle, then I have found that muriatic acid to be effective. However that is not exactly a household product and I would not recommend going out and buying it just to clean this one bottle.

The embossed design is attractive but the case wear (roughness, scrapes, pings) from repeated use really hurts the value.

See this quart example that sold on eBay for $50 but it is in great shape.
