Thanks for posting. Don't be shocked but I do like to call this out for what it is - medical waste.
This is a medicinal bottle containing a liquid which for injection...thus the rubber gasket on top which can be pierced with a needle. It's probably mid 20th century. Bears an Owens-Illinois manufacturing mark.
