lwindsor499 I found this small amber Wheaton (i believe) bottle in the marsh in SC. It has a W in circle and the #17. Can someone verify that it is Wheaton, what it was used for and its age? There are no side seams. The top 1/4 of the bottle has a textured feel. The remaining bottle below the texture glass is smooth.
lstassen Is there a horizontal seam around the shoulder that connects to vertical seams that run to the finish? Is there a seam visible on the finish itself?I haven't heard of threaded bottles that aren't machine made with extremely rare exceptions.
