Green Glass Decanter help with age

Hi. I'm new to this site, so if this is not an appropriate topic, I apologize.

I am trying to date this green glass eagle (or hawk or falcon) decanter I recently picked up at a thrift store. The marks on the bottom say: "PATENTED" and "BESSI" around the bottom, with what looks like an "E" and an "A" in the center (see photo).

I'm guessimg 1950s or 60s, but would like to know for sure
