Historic glass figurine bottle with DESPOSE S marking - need age and value information

My uncle has some old glass bottles that he is looking to learn more about, including age and value. This particular bottleIt is 13 1/2” tall and the hat comes off and has a cork on it. No other markings except DESPOSE S on the bottom side of the bottle. Any ideas or insight? Five images attached.

Your figural bottle is late 19th century and is French

Depose = roughly akin to "trademark"

Some value but not a whole lot. One benchmark of value would be to review completed (and sold) auctions on eBay. Search on something general like "French figural bottle"

This French figural bottle is no doubt a product of the Legras glasshouse which produced a wide variety of figural bottles. It was painted much later. You might call it "folk art" in the broadest sense. Very little collector value in this painted condition, I'd guess.
