I have a HELLMAN’S // CONGRESS BITTERS // ST LOUIS. MO // f // 8 3/4 x 2 5/8 (6 7/8) 5/16 Square, Amber, LTC, Applied mouth, 3 sp, Rare There are two dots under the T of ST and the O of MO. I. & L.M. Hellman

Just curious if anyone know of the value. It is in good condition and has never been opened. Still has the liquid inside the bottle.

I presume yours looks like the one in the lower photo?

The H-79 HELLMAN’S // CONGRESS BITTERS // ST LOUIS. MO as described in the Ring & Ham book has an auction track record in the $500 range but the 3 examples that have sold all were dug. Color variation would also affect value.

The I. & L.M. Hellman bottle is another mold....importantly missing the word BITTERS in its embossing but it does have decorative flair.
