Chris It is a big plus that you have both the stopper and a complete label - definite ingredients for value in 20th century liquor bottles. I find one listed on ebay which has not sold at $26 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Rare-Smirnoff-1957-58-Decanter-Russian-Spire-Kremlen-Style-Unique-Empty-/332304866734?hash=item4d5ee9ddae%3Ag%3AwwQAAOSwfcVUEawn&nma=true&si=BTPbnuh6C%252BDIVpaJV4uh21bNvPQ%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 Funny that they describe it as "Russian Spire" and "Kremlen Style" - presumably a reference to the "onion dome" design of the stopper here which mimics those found on Russian Orthodox churches. I might describe it as looking like the "I Dream of Jeannie" decanters which are very sought after. Hint: the value is in the marketing...
pantherjeni Thanks for quick reply. I have a few other bottles I will dig out of boxes to ask you about too. ;)
