nialin56 Embossed Ramsay's Trinidad Bitters around top of the shoulder as well around the bottom of the bottle Black Brown glass 1880's Cocktail style bitters bottle Shaped like Perrin's Worcestershire sauce bottle but a little bigger Seeking Information about this bottle Identification, Value and another information that could be given.
Chris Bill Ham's book reports 3 different molds in two sizes, so the first thing to know is - how tall? 4 or 8 inches? The second detail is the word BITTERS on the base - is it missing the letter R? ie. BITTES.
nialin56 The bottle is about 8inches high about 2 1/4 at the base tapered to a wider shoulder tapered doubled collar top writing on top of the shoulder Ramsay's Trinidad Bitters not missing the R from Bitter's Thank you for the help
Chris That is the common variant of the three. Apparently the several examples that have been on ebay recently have not gotten much interest :-( https://ebay.com/sch/Bitters/890/i.html?fsrp=1&from=R40&nkw=Ramsay%27s%20Trinidad%20Bitters&LH_Complete=1&rt=nc&trksid=p2045573.m1684
