For a window bottle, SCA (sun-colored amethyst) glass is fine. Collectors prefer their bottles not be altered by ultra-violet light (or by gamma radiation).
The form of your bottle is "new whiskey flask". It dates to the period 1903-1920, or so. That is a valve mark from an automatic bottle machine on the bottom, which means it is a machine-made bottle. The flask has little collector value except perhaps for the finder. Keep hunting for a slightly earlier, hand-finished example.
