Odd Bottle - I Call Purple Daisy Bottle or Lifesaver Bottle

Can you please help me with this bottle - found at a thrift store in CA. Looks old and has seams (two) and on the bottom a pontil mark. Both the upper neck and lip looks hand forged or shaped. Can see it's slightly asymmetric. The color is purple and there are bubbles in the glass with also sand (material) within the glass as well. Under a black light it glows and orange yellow suggesting Manganese or perhaps a small amount of lead, as it feels heavy for its size.. The round portion is 4-3/4" x 4-3/4", and the height is 6-5/8" including the neck.

How old is this bottle? What was it used for? Made in the US or Europe?

This is described by Tom Haunton in his Last Links to the Past - 20th Century South Jersey Glass book as a "Sunflower Pinch Bottle" (incidentally, I cannot recommend this book enough - it is a great resource)

He says the mold was used by Clevenger from the 1960s to 90s but may have been the same mold used previously by another company (or similar)

You may see the letters "CB" on the base

So... these are like the Weaton bottles. Oh well, guess that's why it was only $4. It has no "CB" on the base, so maybe it's a little older.
