Bottle found on side of a Delaware island

I found a bottle on the edge of the island where I stopped the boat. My post got deleted so I am going straight into what the bottle says.
The front of the bottle reads "Federal Law Forbids Sale," and on the front's lower region the text reads "Half Pint,".
On the back of the bottle, the top of it reads "Or Re-Use Of This Bottle,". The lower area reads "Half-Pint,"
The middle of the bottom of this bottle reads;
73
D-?3
56
On the left side of the bottom, the text reads "Ball," in cursive.
On the right side of the bottom, the reads "B 5"
I would appreciate help :) :)

Taking pictures of the worn-out glass bottle was pretty awkward, but I think they're good enough. Thanks if you can help me! I am interested to know what is it, and what the dating is.

  • I have traced the D-23 marking on the base to the Hiram Walker brand based on labeled examples.

    This is likely a mid 20th century bottle.
