I found this bottle on the north east coast of Florida, I haven't been able to figure out what it is, can anyone help me?

    This is an earlier 20th century machine-made beer bottle. When I first saw the base, the markings made me think United Kingdom origin. I do not feel that this is a US made bottle.


    I could not find an exact match for the manufacturer mark but I did see a similar GV marking in "Bottle Makers and Their Marks." I am providing a picture of that marking.
